But did you know the main character in this love story is a D1 coach at the West Frisco, Texas, location?

Haley Johnson, 26, is a coach at the newly opened facility outside of Dallas. She also is a basketball referee, officiating local high school games since she was 16 years old. Another referee, Christian Wortham, 23, caught her eye a few years ago and a relationship developed. 

After reffing a recent game in Lewisville, Texas, Wortham surprised Johnson by getting down on his knee and popping the question. The sweet moment was caught on video and shared around the world, the image of the happy couple in referee stripes too endearing to ignore.

Johnson and Wortham, now a member at D1 West Frisco, recently sat down on the turf for interviews with CBS News and told their story.
