D1 Training Lake Orion

We couldn't be more impressed with D1 Sports and the impact it has had on our son in just a few short weeks. D1 has been a game-changer for my daughter! Since joining last year, she's seen a huge improvement in her athletic ability, particularly in softball. Absolutely love this new gym! If you are looking for semi-private/group training classes- you will not be disappointed. Great workouts with coaches that know what they’re doing.

Great new gym! Love to have a place local that can help me get in shape with a trainer showing and encouraging me through the exercises. Im not a person that would just go to the gym and work out on my own, id just wander around.

My 9 year old daughter tried the Rookie classes this week. The coaches were fantastic and she had a blast. Before we even left the building she was asking when she could return. We are excited to have D1 LO in the community!

My daughter's dance studio is next door to this gym. I saw it being built and was excited to try it out. I had decided to get healthy and begin working out after YEARS of just watching my kids play sports. I've been a member since day of opening and I'm excited every day to participate. Classes are HARD, but you can go at your own pace (with encouragement from the coaches and others working out). We begin each class with a warm up session that gets your heart pumping, then move through endurance, performance, and strength exercises. Then wind down with a stretch. Coach D's smile at 5AM starts my days out right. The 5AM crew/workout buddies are all amazing people. Thanks for helping me get healthy (already down 5lbs this month!) and strong. Love this place!

I recently tried an adult training class and loved it so much that I got a membership for myself and my two daughters! The trainers are certified and do a great job guiding the group, holding us accountable to every rep, even when I feel like stopping halfway. Also, love that I’m doing exercises I normally wouldn’t push myself when on my own. The trainers are super encouraging. The training is perfect for both adults and kids, and my girls have been having a blast. We've gone almost every day this week! Highly recommend!

I’ve been training at D1 Lake Orion since September and recently hit the 100 workout milestone, and I can honestly say it’s been a total game changer for me. This past weekend I tackled the Murph workout and finished stronger and faster than I ever thought possible. There’s no doubt in my mind that the consistent training, coaching, and support from the D1 team made that possible. Every workout is challenging, intentional, and motivating. The coaches know how to push you just enough, and the atmosphere is always energetic and encouraging. It’s not just a gym, it’s a community. The Murph event itself was a standout, well organized, great turnout, and surprisingly a lot of fun. The kind of “fun” that leaves you sore but proud. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come and can’t recommend D1 Lake Orion enough to anyone looking to push their limits and find a supportive fitness family.

We’ve had an amazing experience at D1! The coaches are incredibly supportive and truly care about each athlete’s growth and success. Our son has gained so much confidence and strength since starting—his recent improvement in box jumps from 12 inches to 36 inches is just one example of how far he’s come! The team at D1 celebrates every milestone alongside the athletes, which makes it such a positive and motivating environment. We’re so grateful for their dedication, encouragement, and the way they help push our son to be his best. I have been with D1 Training for over a year. I have grained a tremendous amount of strength, made friends and managed stress. I can really feel the difference when I miss a few days. Great coaches, kind staff and owners.

My son started D1 training before his first middle school football season. He’d never played before, and he arrived confident and ready to train. And he crushed it! While others seemed to struggle, he excelled. After his first week, he told me he was feeling so good because he had been doing 3-4 of the football drills already at D1 for the past month. Even between sports he’s seeing how important and useful training is, plus he loves having something to do without daily practice. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 15 years in some capacity or another and this is the first training facility I’ve trusted with my kids training. They are thoughtful about their programming, strict about technique, and the kids always have so much fun. So happy D1 came to Lake Orion!
