  • “As someone who has lifted for 10+ years at conventional gyms, I didn't know if a class-based routine was going to be for me. Wanting to switch things up, I attended a free class at D1 Training and I've been hooked ever since. Every aspect of D1 is top-tier. From the facility, equipment, coaches & staff, amazing community of people, and of course the kick-ass workouts - D1 is truly a premium product. D1 offers a professionally designed program that follows a lower, upper, full-body 3-day cycle, twice a week with the program overall changing every 8 weeks. While standard conventional lifts are still incorporated in every workout (squats, bench, deadlift, shoulder press, etc.), a strong focus is also placed on dynamic movements, stretching, accessory lifts, and exercises that I never would have done of my own. I’ve felt myself grow stronger, more flexible, and overall vastly more conditioned than I’ve felt in years. Also, because of the structure of the class, you get a great cardio workout as well, all without succumbing to the boring treadmill, stepper, or elliptical. But outside of the workouts, the thing that surprised me the most was how incredible and amazing the people are. There’s no BS or fluff behind all these reviews that rave about the community. For someone who goes to the morning classes before work, it honestly feels like a strong friend-group and is a perfect mesh of hard work, sweat, encouragement, and fun. Even the two owners, Vic & Cara, attend! If you're someone like me who has lifted for a while and want to try something new or if you're at the beginning of their fitness journey, please give D1 Training a shot.   • “My daily 6 AM D1 Training Adult Classes set my days for success! I joined D1 Training in Burlington MA trying out a free class in early May this year and then joined the 6 week challenge. I decided after the first week to try the 6AM class and just wow! There was no looking back. I started from going 3-4 times a week to 6 days a week. The feeling as my body starts to warm up is gratifying, and the feeling at the end of a hard workout each day is inexplicably satisfying. These early morning workout sessions super charge my day—They settle my mind, and I feel more organized and productive throughout the rest of each day.

    All the coaches are supportive, knowledgeable and thoughtful in their approach making sure we all do the exercises correctly. They carefully monitor our progress through each routine, and are always on hand to provide suggestions for modifications to prevent injury. They all have exceptional educational backgrounds and working knowledge in exercise training and nutrition. The coaches and nutritionists provide sustainable nutritional suggestions —fruit, vegetables and protein choices— which also significantly increased my energy level.

    Intriguingly, since I generally like to work out alone, I was really surprised that I enjoyed the group setting at D1 Training so much. The setting here feels very different from other sports clubs. There is a true sense of community support. Everyone is encouraging without being intrusive. There is laughter, and camaraderie in shared gratified feelings of accomplishment having completed a hard workout at the end of each session. It’s quite a wonderful and unique experience.

    Now 10 weeks in, and after 2 weeks on vacation during which I continued to follow a vacation workout the coaches at D1 designed for me, I can really start to visibly see that I am stronger, gained more muscle, am more toned overall; have increased flexibility and feel less aches in my joints. I feel healthier and more energetic now than I’ve felt in the last 15 years.

    I’ve tried various high cardio exercise regimen and restrictive diets over the years with very little success. D1 Training is teaching me to take better care of my body, to embrace a complete workout with more balanced core and strength training and good nutrition—giving me the tools to achieve a more sustainable healthy lifestyle and roadmap for the rest of my life.

  • “I am so happy I saw the ad on Facebook for D1 Training. I tried a few gyms and classes and this is the only that I stuck to.

    I used to do a lot of sports. But then I started working, had kids and never had time for anything. It has been 15+ years since I properly exercised. I became a blob but I found it impossible to motivate myself to do any exercise. I knew I needed something else to motivate me and keep me interested. Then I went to a free trial class at D1 Training Burlington in response to an ad and have been a member ever since. The program at D1 is a perfect solution for me – the classes they are structured as kind of circuit training with 3 areas of focus: performance, strength and core in each class. Every class is different so you never get bored, the classes are high energy with great instructions and you very quickly see results which keeps me motivated. By default of this being a group class, we all push each other to work hard and time goes by very quickly.

  • “D1 is the perfect gym no matter where you are in your workout journey. I played sports in high school and am in the military but got out of shape the last few years. Within 6 weeks I saw changes and built stamina! We did weight lifting, cardio, stretching, and performance exercises but it truly is at your own pace. I recommend trying the classes to anyone and meet all the trainers, they all have their benefits and unique styles! Overall great gym and staff!”

  • “I started bringing my 11 year old son last October as a trial to see what D1 was all about and if they could help with my son’s running mechanics. Within a couple of months of attending, I noticed that my son had become more explosive off the line, his lateral movement and change of direction had improved more than my expectations. Most importantly, his athletic confidence has increased and he now appreciates and has recognition of hard work paying off. All of the coaches (Ben, Justin and Garrett) are very knowledgeable in their craft and great interacting with the kids. At the very least it is a great workout for the kids, the kids build a competitive spirit, they will burn energy, build body mechanics maturity, stamina and strength all while having fun and gaining confidence in the meantime.     Every trainer at D1 is super friendly, super helpful, and awesome at making every class feel new and exciting.

    The classes themselves are difficult for sure, but get easier by the day. I expected to be very intimidated by the workouts and the class setting but once I settled in I found there was nothing to worry about at all. I learned a ton about different kinds of lifts and exercises and I feel totally different physically and mentally than how I felt going into this.
