Soccer Performance Camp

D1's Soccer Performance Camp is designed for the up-and-coming passionate soccer player. We will expose each player to the best soccer specific training, expert coaches, and competitive atmosphere. This training will maximize a player's full potential and prepare them to dominate their teammates and opponents in their upcoming season.

Youth players (ages 9-13) will be immersed in technical, tactical, and functional sessions. Speed, agility, and quickness training, as well as age-appropriate strength training. Each athlete will take what they have learned and apply it through fun and intense small-sided competitions, and games based on player's age.

High school age players (ages 14-18) will experience a curriculum that will challenge and treat them as collegiate athletes. Their training will include the same sport-specific aspects as the youth players but utilizing advanced techniques, drills and modalities. The camp will conclude with the application of their training in live, scenario-based competitions and games.

Youth Football Performance Camp

D1's Youth Football Performance Camp will challenge your young athlete physically and mentally to improve as players. The camp maintains a fun and competitive atmosphere with a focus on helping athletes learn skills and techniques they can immediately use to excel in their upcoming season. Taught by former D1 athletes and Pro players, this camp will combine a strength and conditioning program tailored to young athletes with character building through the promotion of team work, sportsmanship, discipline, and hard work.

As with all D1 Programs, speed and agility will be major components of the camp. An emphasis will be put on the acceleration phase of speed training as that is the component most young athletes struggle with. In particular, the sport of football is a series of short, explosive bursts of action requiring athletes to accelerate in and out of breaks, off the line, and past opposing players. Building off of that, athletes will learn to perform specific change of direction drills that will help them on the field in game time situations. These drills will be accompanied with teaching moments to help athletes understand the science and "why" behind certain techniques. All athletes will have the opportunity to run through core combine drills that they will see throughout their football careers, from the vertical jump test to the pro agility, and 40-yard dash. Our football performance camp will provide athletes the experience and skills necessary to dominate at future camps, and their upcoming football season.

Speed Camp

Speed is one of the top attributes of athletes who are recruited to play at the collegiate and pro level, meaning all athletes - regardless of sport - need speed.

D1's Speed Camp revolves around the following principles: every athlete can be taught to run with efficient mechanics and every athlete's muscle memory can be re-wired by SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness) training to move with improved acceleration, lateral mobility, and vertical leaping ability. Our Speed camp will empower athletes with the skills, confidence, and competitive edge they need to compete at the next level. Athletes will improve their speed, agility, quickness and overall fitness for on field performance. Whether its separating from a defender on offense, defending opposing ball handlers, or generating turnovers - speed is king. We will work with athletes from the ground up, starting with footwork and lower body mobility and working our way up to dynamic core stiffness, arm mechanics and head positioning.

This camp will expose athletes to a range of training methods including plyometrics, olympic lifts, and contrast training to name a few. Utilizing our state of art facility and equipment, athletes will receive elite-level training -- usually reserved for NCAA College and professional athletes.

When: July 5-7 (TWR)

  • 1-2:30pm, Ages 15+

What Our Athletes Are Saying

  • “There are a lot of heart issues in our family and I’m prone to that. I want to live a long life and live it, not just show up. I only needed one workout to know that D1 is where I wanted to be.” - Scott Holiday
  • “The great thing about D1 is that there are different exercises every day, working a different part of my body. I don’t get bored. Even though I’m not an outstanding athlete, I feel like an athlete when I am here. Both my sons are into sports, my husband utilizes the personal training, so we all love coming here. It has made such a difference for us.” - Amy Long
  • “What motivates me to work out is my drive for a volleyball scholarship. When I came to D1, I learned the right way to lift weights, got more muscle and began to develop an athlete’s body. D1 is serious about their athletes. They help you and work with you so that you train the right way.” - Alessandra Kennedy
